The boots are normal size, so choose your regular shoe size. If you plan to wear thick wool socks in the boots, choose one or two sizes larger than normal.
Skis are chosen based on the weight and height of the skier. Choose a ski that is suitable for your weight class. The length of the ski should ideally be slightly longer than the skier, but the correct weight class is more important than length.
The Excursion Crown Skin skis have a fastening system for short climbing skins (available for rent separately). The S-Bound Crown Dual Skin skis have a fastening system for both short and full-length climbing skins (available for rent separately). Both skis have a fish-scale base in the grip zone.
Climbing skins are particularly necessary when pulling a sled or in icy conditions, for example. For day trips, you can usually manage without climbing skins.
Rentals should be picked up and returned during the rental office's opening hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. or to the pickup-point.
