Tour of Lake Luiro is a classic hike in the Urho Kekkonen National Park. In this event the 75-kilometre route is hiked in seven days.
Hike will start from Suomen Latu Kiilopää and return to the same place.
Price includes guiding on the hike, dinner and a smoke sauna on the last day of the even
Participants are responsible for their own maintenance during the event. Participants will carry their own tent, food and other camping equipment.
It is a good idea to have some experience in backpacking and a good basic fitness level before participating in the hike.
Tour of Lake Luiro
Length of the trek: 75km, 7 days.
Daily distances are between 10 and 24 km. The campsites are Suomunruoktu, Tuiskukuru, Lake Luiro (2 nights), Kotaköngäs and Rautulampi.

Lake Luiro, the jewel of the Urho Kekkonen National Park, is located in the central part of the national park, in the magnificent landscape of famous fell Sokosti.
We stay at Lake Luiro for two nights. If you wish, you can join us for a day trip to Sokosti, weather permitting.
